What Age People Make up Barabbas Road Church in San Diego?

The people of Barabbas Road Church in San Diego are passionate about making disciples for the glory of God. The church will continue to have plenty of opportunities to make disciples in the future because of the number of families that attend the church. One reason there are so many families is because many families are starting and growing at Barabbas Road Church. Because of the location of the church, there are a number of singles that attend the church. What has happened is that the singles are marrying each other and starting their own families. Over the past three years, 40 marriage ceremonies have been done at the church, and now those married couples are starting to have kids.

Another advantage of the church’s location is that it attracts a lot of young professionals. The majority of the people who attend Barabbas Road Church are singles and married couples between the ages of 25 to 35. Even though the main demographic of the church is a young group, the church does have many people of various ages who attend and enjoy worshipping at Barabbas Road Church.

Although Barabbas road church is made up of different types of people, they all have one main thing in common: the desire to hear the Word of God preached every Sunday morning. This is how God is growing the church as people are growing as disciples of Christ and in return many more disciples are being made.

Barabbas Road Church offers many ministries that different age groups can benefit from. For example, the Men’s ministry meets every month and discusses the role of men in the church. This group is for both single and married men and discusses what God has created men for. Likewise, the women meet each month and discuss the role of women in the church. This group learns about what God has created women for and it is for single and married women.

The mission of Barabbas Road Church is “to make ‘disciple making’ disciples through the personal investment of our lives.” Ministries like the Children’s ministry, Singles ministry, Men’s ministry, Women’s ministry, Mom’s ministry, Marriage ministry and Barabbas University all are for the purpose to make and grow disciples of all ages for the Glory of God. Although, the ages that make up Barabbas Road church lean towards the younger generations, the focus and desire of Barabbas Road Church is to make disciples of all age groups.
